"Deck" Bransfield has been with Eberle Associates since 1980, and he has been involved in direct mail since 1972. A specialist in copywriting on behalf of clients who have an urgent cause, Deck is responsible for the supervision of the Eberle Associates copywriting team.
Deck started out as a managing editor of two newsletters of William F. Buckley's National Review magazine and then went on to become publisher of Guild Books. In addition, Deck also managed the direct mail fund raising program of Catholic Views Broadcasts, a public affairs radio service that syndicated the conservative talk show "Voices of the News." Prior to coming to Eberle Associates, Deck worked for a year-and-a-half as a copywriter for the Richard A. Viguerie Company.
Deck is a 1969 graduate of Old Dominion University and holds a Masters Degree in History from Georgetown University. He and his wife, Alice, have one son, "Mickey"--M. D., IV.
